Submissions

Fantastic Frontiers Magazine is a bi-monthly online magazine offering fresh and engaging science fiction and fantasy short stories, 
serials, comics, videos, voice recordings, and other multimedia. Excessive violence, nudity, and/or swearing not permitted. 
No simultaneous submissions. Find submission dates here.

Nonfiction: Interview/profile (with writers/artists), photo feature (art exhibits), book reviews. Length: 350-1500 words. $20-45 per.
Photos: Send photos with submission. Reviews JPEG files. Buys one time rights. Negotiates payment individually. Captions, identification of subjects, model releases required.
Fiction: Science fiction and fantasy.No pure horror. Length: 500-2000 words. $.03 per word.
Comics: Science fiction and fantasy. No pure horror or humor. May be serial. Query. 
Artwork: Science fiction and fantasy. Reviews JPEG or PNG files. Buys various rights. Negotiates payment individually. Release required.
Multimedia: Videos, audio, and other. Interview/profile (with writers/artists), book reviews, short clips, other. Science fiction and fantasy.  Query. Length 30 seconds-5 minutes. Payment depends upon length and quality.

Submissions: Include the following in the first four lines of the submissions email:
Title of Submission
Type and Genre (i.e. fiction/fantasy or fiction/steampunk or nonfiction/book review or comic/science fiction)
Full Name of Writer
Number of Words

All written submissions should be sent in .doc format. All written submissions chosen for selection are paid $.03 per word.

All submissions must include one of the following in the subject of the email: Nonfiction/Fiction/Photo/Comic/Artwork/Multimedia 
All submissions must include the following in the first four lines of the email:
     Specific genre of piece
     Title of piece
     Name of author/publishing name
     Number of words/size(for photos/comics/artwork)/length(for multimedia)
